It's been a while since I have had a new post, though I have meant to post about a million things. Chris's started school, which jumbled my work schedule around and it feels like we are always on the go. Lots of new things have happened so I will try my best to update. Chris is currently filling out his applications for Pharmacy school and it's taking WAY longer than we anticipated. His first application took him 4 hours to fill out. Literally. 4 hours. It was all essay questions, and tons of them. He is applying to a school here, and one in Idaho. Those are his two first choices, then he hasn't decided on the third school that he will use as a back up. I say we go somewhere that sounds fun and new...he doesn't really agree because he wants to stay close. So we'll see. I am really nervous and excited to see where we will end up next year.
Landon had his 6 month appointment a few weeks ago. He is still a very big boy. But still very proportional. He weighed 20lbs 6oz (85%) and 27.5 inches long (77%) He has so much personality and makes us laugh all day! We love him so much!

Whoa 20 lbs!! Awesome! Tell Chris that it isn't so bad living away from family, you get to experience and grow as a family when you don't have so many other people to rely on. There are blessings and benefits of living close to family for sure, but I felt that we were supposed to go where we have, and we were blessed tremendously in the places we've lived and met new friends that I would have never known otherwise. Tell him to rely on the Spirit to guide, and you guys will go and have a wonderful experience no matter where you end up. Love you guys!
I hear the program at Idaho State is really good (if that's the Idaho school he's applying to). My hubby was accepted to the English Masters program at ISU and we moved to Pocatello a little over a year ago from St. George. We love it up here! The cost of living is cheaper and it's really no that much colder than Salt Lake (although our snow stays on the ground longer).
(p.s. I'm one of Jen's friends from high school)
Hi!
Idaho State is Chris's number one choice. I guess they only accept 5% of pharmacy applicants from out of state, so we really have our fingers crossed that Chris will be one of them...however, we are trying not to get our hopes up.
Well, good luck, we'll keep our fingers crossed for you too. Keep us posted when you find out. If you want to use our address, you can be residents ;)
